It does not require an expert in the field...

Frank,
Here is Redondo's reply that was mentioned in the comments yesterday.

Reply to "Comment on 'Density-matrix formulation of ab initio methods of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics'"

It does not require an expert in the field to detect the weasel.

He tried to publish a known result as new, was caught, and then spin-doctored that his paper was intended to be a "review" instead of an original publication.

That does not make any sense. Phys Rev A does not publish reviews and it never did. Rev of Mod Phys for review articles for Phys Rev. How could he claim it is a review?

No, it doesn't make sense. That's how you know it's an attempt at spin-doctoring!

  7. (1) The point is how this was viewed by the DFT community. The fact that Tony hasn't published in this area since his smack down speaks to this.

    (2) Now that this little item has seen the light of day, how will the broad scientific community view T-division and LANL? It has sullied the reputation of every member of T-division.

    (3) Tony's publication list probably should be gone over for any additional "abnormalities".
