Ah yes, the 1950s. Wonderful time for us, the chosen few, the one's beckoned to come to Los Alamos--a community then basking in the mystique of nuclear technology, albeit a primitive environment but secure from probing eyes and questioning minds, situated on a national pedestal we thought would forever be our rightful place. Ah yes, if only we could turn back the clock…sighhhh
