Why is no one commenting on this?

I'm just wondering what's going to happen to the Black Hole property - anyone know?

I imagine most people are leaving comments at EdGrothusMemorial.wordpress.com.

Frank, your reply is disingenuous. Actually, some comments have been suppressed. (Let's see if this one is.)

One comment has been rejected on this post. Was it something you were proud to say?

I'll say something.

I'll miss Ed Grothus. I didn't agree with almost any of his political views, but I would love to see a world filled with peace as he envisioned it. He was a fun guy to talk to on a lazy summer afternoon. He'll be missed, no doubt about it.

Is there some other old curmudgeon hanging around Los Alamos who can take his place? I highly doubt it. Ed was truly unique.

The only time I met Ed was once at The Black Hole. He was sitting outside in the "parking lot" when I arrived unannounced. We talked a little outside, but it was difficult because he didn't hear very well. He asked if I had ever visited before, where I was from and what did I do.

There was a twinkle in Ed's eye when I told him I was an electrical engineer. He said, "You're going to love this." He gave me the guided tour and I loved it. Thanks Ed.

While I never completely agreed with Ed, to say that his comments did not make me mad as hell time after time, I will say this. I respect his strength to stand out andsay what he thought. Not many people have that strength in character to purue a path that is not popular. I did stop at the Black hole once, and Ed was pleasant. We need more people like him.
