I am one of those who complained to the IG after I complained to my GL (more times than I count) and he complained to his DL(FWO) who ignored/swept it under the rug (more times than he could count). Lots of folks posting to this blog have said that this type of stuff has been going on since Zia days.Maybe but not like KSL....KSL has raised it to a level that is ...the only word I can come up with is criminal. People from both KSL and LANS should go to prison. This not a union thing. This is not a craft thing. This is not a Facility coordinator, engineering, programatic or facility thing. It is a senior level KSL and senior level LANS/LANL/MSS/FM/FWO thing. KSL should fired along with a few current LANS managers. This stuff has been going on for a long time, lots of folks have reported it and were ignored. I suspect this will blow over just like everthing else and every other time

Don't you know it. But you also know they won't. Too much money involved. Too many corrupt officials. Too much complacency. Simply disgusting!

Here's a tip for LASO to follow up on regarding KSL corruption if they dare. Check out the latest padding KSL is doing in terms of fire alarm testing at LANL. Here's a hint. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire.

Testing is being done at way too frequent an interval with far more people than necessary. It's the latest KSL scheme to defraud LANL. Even better, most of the testing takes place after 5 PM, so it's overtime pay! Sweet, huh?

KSL is having a hard time padding actually construction work at LANL due to the cutbacks so they've apparently decided to target checks of the safety related systems as their latest scam at LANL.

LANL is so poorly run that you have to start thinking that DOE has probably decided in favor of taking the ax to the place. If you can't fix a facility, you can at least prune it way back to minimize the damage.

It's not clear what you'll find as you peel back the foreskin of LANL. If KSL is any indication, it won't be pleasant.

You can be guaranteed of one thing: whatever you find will be cheesy, or worse.
